Yellowstone Fees and Permits

Passes are sold at all Yellowstone National Park entrances or you can purchase online here: Purchase Pass Online

Seven-day Passes

Private, non-commercial vehicle: $35.00
Motorcycle or snowmobile: $30.00
Individual on foot, bicycle, ski, etc: $20.00 per person
Seven-day passes are good for entry to Yellowstone National Park for seven days from date of purchase.

Annual Passes

Yellowstone National Park Annual Pass: $70.00
Annual passes are good for entry to Yellowstone National Park for one year from month of purchase. If you are traveling by snowmobile, pass admits only the signer. If you are traveling by snow coach or shuttle, the pass admits the signer and up to three additional persons for a total of four people.

Non-Commercial Buses and Vans

Non-commercial groups traveling in vehicles with a capacity of 16 people or more: $20.00 per person

Commercial Tours

Commercial Sedan 1-6 seats: $25.00, plus $20.00 per person
Commercial Van 7-15 seats, regardless of occupancy: $125.00
Commercial Mini Bus 16-25 seats, regardless of occupancy: $200.00
Commercial Motor Coach 26 or more seats, regardless of occupancy: $300.00
Commercial group tours fees are based on the seating capacity of the vehicle. Entry is good for seven days but must be the same passenger group.

Federal Lands Passes

Federal lands passes are accepted and sold at Yellowstone National Park.

Free Entrance Days

There are four days in 2018 when Yellowstone National Park offers free admission to everyone.
January 15th: Martin Luther King, Jr’s birthday
April 21st: First day of National Park Week
September 22nd: National Public Lands Day
November 11th: Veterans Day
