Tower Fall Campground

The Location

Tower Fall Campground is located in the northeast corner of Yellowstone National Park just 2 miles south of Tower Junction. It is on the north side of the winding, steep road to Dunraven Pass.

The Area

The closest place to pick up supplies and other necessities is about 2 miles north in Tower Junction. Here you will find restaurants, a gift shop, a general store with groceries and a gas station. Wildlife is very common in this area so be on the lookout for elk, moose, wolves, bison, bears and many other types of animals.

The Campground

Tower Fall Campground is open from June 15, 2018, until September 24, 2018. This small campground is made up of only 31 campsites with a few designated for hikers and bikers. The restroom facilities are vault toilets and drinkable water is available. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire pit with a grate. Food storage containers are available to keep the wildlife away from your food and are 22″ by 22″ by 48″. Because the bear activity is so common in this area, it is most important that you keep your food sealed away. You can check up-to-date campsite availability here: Yellowstone Campground Availability.
